What is Plaster Carousel and how does it differ from other painting studios?
Plaster Carousel is a family-owned painting studio located in Coral Springs since 1983. You read that right, 43 years of painting fun and counting! We pride ourselves on having a huge variety of plaques, statues, jewelry boxes, and banks so whether you are looking to paint a Christmas tree, a menorah, an axolotl, or a fairy house, we've got you covered.
Plaster Carousel differs from other studios in that you can walk in (no reservations needed), paint your masterpiece, and take it home the same day. You paint at your own pace and we spray each finished piece with a clear coat. No kiln, no waiting.
Who paints at Plaster Carousel?
Plaster Carousel is for all ages and abilities. Little kiddos, tweens, teens, parents, and grandparents are all welcome. We also offer private events for birthday parties, scout troops, school groups, fundraisers, camps, etc.
How much does it cost?
Our prices range from $15-$65 with the average piece falling in the $20-$25 range. You can bring your own brushes or grab a variety pack of 10 brushes from us for $5. The brushes are yours to keep and reuse on future visits. Paint, studio time, finishing gloss, glitter, and aprons are included at no additional cost.
How can families find you or learn more about your studio?
Walk in and paint during regular studio hours at 9865 W. Sample Road. We're open Wednesday–Sunday from 11AM–6PM.
We are also open whenever Broward schools are closed, including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day — but we are closed on Thanksgiving Day.
